Field Trip Leader:
Piedmont Virginia Bird Club has partnered with Rockfish Valley Foundation to host a bird walk at the Rockfish Valley Trail on May 10. This picturesque spot in Nelson County is well worth the 40 minute drive from Charlottesville. Trails are flat, mostly grass, and meander through meadows, fields and forests along the South Fork Rockfish River and will likely hold a number of migrants.
- This walk is free and open to the public, no membership required.

- We’ll meet at and start from the Camille Trailhead at 8 a.m.
- Bird enthusiasts of all levels are welcome!
- A limited number of loaner binoculars will be available.
- Carpooling is encouraged–parking is limited.
