    PVBC Field Trip: Greene Community Park

    Field Trip Leader:

    Join PVBC and Preserve Rural Greene for a beginner bird walk at Greene Community Park in Greene County. This event is mostly for those who participated in the Nov. 20 beginner birdwatching presentation, but all are welcome!

    • This event is free and open to anyone but RSVP is required by emailing: [email protected].
    • Meet at 512 Jeri Allen Way, Ruckersville, VA, 22986.
    • Loaner binoculars and coffee will be available.
    • The walk will cover around 1 mile on grassy fields and dirt trails. Wear comfortable weather-resistant shoes and warm clothes.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area.
