    New to birding? Interested in learning more about our local birds but don’t know where to start? Join PVBC and Preserve Rural Greene for a free beginner birdwatching presentation at Greene County Library. PVBC member Caroline Bertrand will give you tools for learning about birds and introduce you to common birds in our area. Participants are also invited to join the beginner bird walk on Nov. 22 at Greene Community Park.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area.
