Field Trip Leader:
Join Becky Fales to explore Dutch Gap Conservation Area in Chesterfield County, one of the best waterfowl viewing locations in Virginia. The park is about an hour and a half from Charlottesville (consider carpooling), but well worth the drive if you enjoy ducks!
- This field trip is free and open to all.
- Meet at the main parking area for the Henricus Historical Park at 341 Henricus Park Road, Chester, VA 23836.
- Birding will be along gravel trails and board walks. The terrain is mostly flat. Expect about 2 miles of hiking.
- Restrooms are available on site (even in the winter).
