Our friends at the Virginia Society of Ornithology have announced that applications can now be submitted for the 2026 Outreach Awards. The Awards exists to increase access to the joy of connecting with nature through birds by engaging historically under-served communities in Virginia, including but not limited to Minorities, Tribes, LGBTQ, disability, and other under-represented groups, in birding activities. The due date is September 1, 2026, however we are able to make awards earlier for compelling reasons.
