    Goldfinch Farm in Nelson is a beautiful historic farm in the process of restoring a more natural ecosystem on the site. Explore meadows, forests and a stream with alders. Walking will be along paths without much incline and with good footing. There’s a stream crossing with a board bridge.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area.
