    [Rescheduled!] Bird Walk at Secluded Farm

    Due to forecasted rain and storms tomorrow, the bird walk at Secluded Farm is rescheduled to Sunday, May 24.

    Join Louis Sokolow to find lingering spring migrants and local breeders along the trails at Secluded Farm. This lovely property offers a network of trails through meadows, fields and forests which reliably host a wide variety of birds. All are welcome!

    • Meet in the larger, northern parking lot for the Saunders-Monticello Trail.
    • Expect to walk 1-2 miles on grass and dirt trails with several hills.
    • Restrooms are available nearby at Monticello.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area.
