    Bird Walk at Lickinghole Creek

    Events

    Connie and Sterling Christian will lead a bird walk at Lickinghole Creek in Crozet. We will be looking for fall migrants like warblers and flycatchers, as well as ducks, shorebirds and eagles.
    • This walk is free and open to all, no registration required.
    • Participants will meet at the bottom of Fairwinds Lane in Crozet for this field trip. The road ends in a cul-de-sac, the group will park and meet there. Please park closely and carpool if possible so we can fit everyone into the area.
    • The walk will be around a mile on paved, grass and dirt trails with a few hills.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area.
