    Field Trip to Whisper Hill Farm

    PVBC is hosting two field trips on Sunday, April 26. See events for details on the other field trip.

    PVBC has partnered with the Piedmont Environmental Council to host a bird walk targeting grassland bird species at Whisper Hill Farm near Scottsville in Albemarle County.

    Participants must also submit a participation waiver.

    We’ll be walking about a mile around a produce farm with mostly flat fields. The farm has large paths but terrain may be rocky. Learn more at the registration link.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area.
