    Bird Walk at Dunlora Fields

    Join expert birder Tom Wyatt for a fall migration bird walk at Dunlora Fields, a scenic section of the Rivanna Trail with large meadows that are sure to attract migrating warblers, flycatchers and more. 

    • This walk is free and open to all, no registration required.
    • Meet in the parking lot at Pen Park below the tennis courts and near the baseball fields and picnic shelter. Google Maps pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/AWHQ1ikL5jKXvZYd7
    • The walk will be around a mile on flat grass and dirt trails with a few hills.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area.
