PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area. The Piedmont Virginia Bird Club also has a Facebook group where members socialize, share bird sightings and can get club related information.
