    February Meeting – 40th Anniversary Celebration MOVED TO PVCC

    The Club’s 40th anniversary celebration is relocating to the Bolick Center at Piedmont Virginia Community College due to icy conditions and parking constraints at Ivy Creek. The party will is today, Feb. 4, at 6 p.m.
     
    The Bolick Center is the newest building on the PVCC campus, located immediately on the right when reaching the top of the hill. There is plenty of parking. We will have catered food from Roots Natural Kitchen then enjoy a celebratory program at 7 p.m. We are expecting around 50 people and their desserts!
     

    Piedmont Virginia Bird Club turns 40 this year! Join us for food, drinks and camaraderie to celebrate our anniversary. The celebration will be held at Piedmont Virginia Communtuity College – Bolick Building Event Space (the new building) and will serve as our February monthly meeting, but please note the slightly earlier start time. Dinner and drinks will be catered from Roots Natural Kitchen, with desserts provided by you! After we enjoy a meal, we’ll hear from some of PVBC’s founding members and past presidents about the history of the Club.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek and conducts field trips in the Charlottesville area.
