    Young Birders Walk at Ivy Creek Natural Area

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16. The group meets during PVBC’s first Saturday bird walks but also hosts additional walks specifically for young birders. Join us for another bird walk this June at Ivy Creek Natural Area. Meet in the main parking lot. Bring binoculars, water and your curiosity! Dress in clothing appropriate for a hiking (and repelling biting insects/ticks).

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16.

    The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek. There is no cost to participate in our monthly meetup. Parents are welcome to join. We strive to be ADA compliant. Loaner binoculars are available courtesy of PVBC.
