PVBC Meeting Minutes: September 2, 2026

Will Kurtz, Vice President, opened the meeting promptly at 7:00 p.m., at the Ivy Creek Natural Area Education Building. There were 27 members present at the meeting.
Will welcomed members and invited new or returning members to introduce themselves. Tom Rapp and Cathy Good introduced themselves as returning members.
Will also advised members that the Board met the day before to discuss Club administrative matters.

First Saturday Bird Walk at Ivy Creek Natural Area, on Saturday, September 5th, at 7:30 a.m. Meet in the main parking lot at 1780 Earlysville Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
Bird Walk at Lickinghole, on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. Led by Connie and Sterling Christian. More details are available on the PVBC website.
Bird Walk at Dunlora, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. Led by Tom Wyatt.
Bird Walk at Secluded Farm, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. Led by Louis Sokolow. Meet in the larger, northern parking lot for Saunders-Monticello Trail.
Bird Walk at Botanical Garden of the Piedmont, on Friday, October 2nd, at 7:30 a.m. Led by Cory Swift.
